Petra Hlaváčková is a tattoo artist from Prague in the Czech Republic. She works at the Bobek Tattoo studio, producing both tattoos and fine art paintings with an abstract watercolor style. Her paintings cover a wide range of subjects and include a variety of different symbols in the form of animals, people, flowers and weather patterns. But the most symbolic part of her paintings can often be found in her use of color and brush strokes. The lines and forms that she creates with watercolor are highly expressive and add an emotive, animated appeal to her art works.
Petra has created a wealth of art, both on paper and on skin. Her expressive style works in both mediums, though somehow, her tattoos have more of a vivid appeal than the same designs have on paper. Perhaps it is because of the living nature of her canvas, or because most of her watercolor paintings were created to be tattoo designs.
