Otherworldly Illustrations by Surrealist Graffiti Artist “Dhear One”

Little is known about Mexican painter, illustrator and graffiti artist Dhear One, though this interview with Veemente reveals a little about his background. Dhear One grew up around graffiti artists who influenced his interest in art and taught him how to create graffiti murals. He merged his skills and talents with a passion for biology, prehistoric worlds and surrealism to create a style that is both surrealist and visionary. Strange alien plants, microbes and parasites frolic together alongside mutated human forms to create a bizarre landscape that is totally out of this world.

Dhear One has created graffiti art around the world and has formed a devoted following online with his paintings and illustrations. His style is highly personalized – it would be difficult for another artist to mimic the essence of Dhear One’s designs, and so he stands alone in his very own art genre. Other artists who display the same passion for surrealism and biology in their own individual art style are Yoko d’Holbachie, David Ball and Yosuke Ueno. You can see more art work by Dhear one on his Behance profile or Flickr page.
