Cities become Story Books with Mart Aire’s Illustrative Street Art

Argentinian street artist Mart Aire uses a fun-loving illustrative style to create his street art murals. People on bicycles float through dreamy landscapes surrounded by fish, musical instruments and cheerful suns. Aire’s art style is abstract and resembles children’s book illustrations. The feelings that his paintings portray are cheerful ones that inspire a sense of wonder about the simple things in life.

There is a childlike joy in Mart Aire’s street art. Unlike many graffiti artists who express their opinions about politics and society, Aire likes to express hope and optimism in his murals, essentially stating that no matter what his viewers are experiencing in their lives in that moment, there is always hope. The cheerful attitude portrayed in Mart Aire’s paintings reflect his own ideas about how to live a full and satisfying existence, by enjoying each moment as it comes and by doing the things that make you happy.
