Puppies are adorable first thing in the morning after a good night’s sleep, or after a daytime nap. Most puppies like to snuggle into their bed and rubs their eyes while grumbling and making the world’s cutest “awoo!”. Just like human babies, dog babies need lots of sleep, but they will sleep on and off through the day and night, often waking up their tired owners during the night wanting attention. From personal experience I can tell you that a puppy waking you up to play at 3am isn’t totes adorable, but dogs don’t stay puppies forever, so you just have to embrace the moment (and the puppy) and enjoy their puppyhood.

During this Covid-19 pandemic, many people are working from home and struggle to get out of bed in the morning because their routine of getting up and going out to work has changed. Perhaps this makes these videos of puppies moaning about getting out of bed even more relatable. Perhaps we can learn to stretch and snuggle and sing good morning before getting out of bed like these little guys do.

With their squishy faces and rolls of chubby skin, puppy dogs are incredibly cuddly. Just try watching these three lovable pups wake up without yearning to give them a tummy tickle or boop their tiny noses hello…
