He says he creates his colorful sand mandalas not only to create joy for kids, but to inspire and motivate adults to pursue their own creativity.<\/p>\n<p>Mangrum creates his designs organically, allowing each piece to grow from the centre outwards, without any planning or design in mind. The result is that the shapes and colors that Mangrum uses to create his mandalas reflect his moods, opinions and thoughts as he creates each piece.
