Legohaulic is the artist name for Tyler Clites, an American artist who creates fan art statues of a famous film and literary characters. Legohaulic has created Lego brick sculptures of Little Red Riding Hood, Alice in Wonderland, Iron Man as well as a collection of various Star Wars characters and Tim Burton character.

Tyler Clites’ art form merges childhood toys and stories with an adult’s appreciation for the characters found in the stories. The result is a series of colourful statuettes and lego scenes that show us a moment from a beloved story. Tyler Clites hasn’t limited himself to film and animation, however. Some of his characters come from famous books such as Grimm’s Fairy Tales and video games such as those found on Nintendo.

Legohaulic’s work proves that while children might enjoy these characters, adults have a more cerebral interest in the characters’ personalities. Take a look at Tyler Clites’ Flickr photo stream for more building block fan art.
