David Walker is a London-based artist who creates explosively colorful portraits of people he’s never met. Each of his art works features a face that the artist found in a book, magazine or photograph. Walker says that the anonymity of his subjects allows the viewer to create their own background story for the person in the painting. David Walker has imposed a restriction on himself to not use brushes, sponges or other art tools in his paintings. The only medium Walker uses is spray paint. In an interview with Street Art London<\/a>, David Walker talks about restricting himself to spray paint, saying, “I\u2019m drawn towards the idea of making something beautiful out of what could be classed as lo-brow materials and methods.
