Solongo Monkhooroi is a female artist who grew up between beautiful Mongolian mountains, wide steppes and the Gobi desert. The landscapes that she encountered as a child have influenced her art techniques as an adult; many of her paintings have tall mountain peaks and rushing rivers. Stylizing her paintings to reflect the artistic style of Mongolia, Solongo combines modern ideas and imagery, such as scantily clad models, with ancient and legendary beasts and monsters. Sexy girls ride giant turtles or sit astride behemoth crocodiles in scenes that describe myths, legends and fantasy stories.
