George Carlin\u00a0(May 12, 1937\u00a0\u2013 June 22, 2008) was an American stand-up comedian, actor and writer who won five Grammy awards in his lifetime. Carlin was famed for his hyper critical view on life which he expressed through hilarious stand-up comedy acts, films and books.
