Scrat&#8217;s comedies have a hint of tragedy to them &#8211; no matter how hard he tries, Scrat simply can&#8217;t bury his beloved acorn. In the process of trying to bury the acorn, Scrat is struck by lightning, caught in a glacier, frozen into an ice cube and sent to the middle of the Earth.
