O Fortuna is a medieval poem written in Latin that complains about fate and luck, ideas that are personified by the Roman Goddess Fortuna. In 1935, a German composer called Carl Orff set the poem to music in Carmina Burana.<\/em>\u00a0The music became very popular and has become the audible sound of drama and death. By using rage comics characters as the performers in this animation, the artist has added another level of humor to the video – it’s hard to take the characters seriously, even while a sombre, dramatic piece of music plays in the background.
