Marion Arbona’s Wacky World of Illustration

Marion Arbona is a French illustrator and animator living in Montreal, Canada. She divides her time between creating illustrations and working on animation projects, bringing her creativity and unique art style to both of these industries. Each of Arbona’s illustrations is different from the next. Some are highly detailed and filled with action, while others display a scene in a simple and straightforward manner. Her illustrations are full of movement, abstract shapes and imaginative characters that give life to Arbona’s imagination.

Arbona’s art has been used in children’s books, on calenders and in packaging labels. Her style appeals to both young and old audiences as it combines the bizarre attitudes that appeal to children and the mature, tight construction that pleases adult eyes. Marion Arbona uses textures to create contrast in her illustrations, setting flat areas of color against texture-filled shapes to create a balanced argument throughout each image. Arbona also utilizes warped perspectives, abstract forms and exaggerated shapes to add visual appeal to her fun, interesting illustrations.
