I’m Elmo and I Know It – Hilarious Sesame Street LMFAO Parody

The Sesame Street TV show first aired in 1969 and instantly received positive reviews. The show uses puppets designed by Jim Henson, who called his puppet creations Muppets. One of the most famous and beloved Muppet characters is Elmo, the furry red guy who features in this video. The purpose of Sesame Street is to educate and entertain children through songs and skits. Celebrities often appear with Muppet characters on the show. Famous people who have appeared with the Muppets on Sesame Street include Robin Williams, Cameron Diaz and Natalie Portman.

LMFAO is an American electropop duo who shot to fame after releasing Party Rock in 2009. Sexy and I Know It soon became a hit, with its funny music video and catchy beats. PA Films has created a parody of Sexy and I Know It, which uses Elmo as the main character. The words of the song have been changed to suit Elmo’s personality, and clever editing techniques lend weight to the song by making it seem as though Elmo is dancing in a dubstep style and acting out the lyrics of the song.
