The song was written for a cappella groups; groups of singers who wove together a song with only their voices, not relying on musical instruments or pre-recorded music to add bulk to their song. “Don’t Worry Be Happy” was the first a cappella song to become so popular and has remained a classic that anyone can sing along to.
